Omar from Sony talks you through some of the technical aspects of 3D TVs that you should take into consideration when buying a 3D TV for Christmas. 3D TVs are still a relatively new technology, and not all 3D enabled TVs are the same. Before you head online or down to your local store, take some time to research the facts. Omar tells you everything you need to know about the Sony range of BRAVIA 3D TVs, so now you’ve watched the video, why not head down to your local store for a free demo of one in action? Everyone talknig how 3d glasses are stupid but i think they are cool
How to look a spastic : wear silly glasses for ’3-D tv.
Well now the crap programmes will look TWICE AS BAD!
am i the only one why thinks it kina lame
@METALFREAK03 I want 3D…. you dont HAVE to have it on you know…
I have a question that’s been bugging me for a few weeks. Can I watch old DVD movies in 3d if I have a 3d TV? Or does the dvd have to include 3d for it to work?
@METALFREAK03 this is the generation that wants 3D…
Time to save up, I’ve tried the glasses on and they’re so comfortable, I have my PS3 ready, all I need is one of these for some WipEout HD 3D awesomeness.
@METALFREAK03 That technology is already available, screens with no glasses.
I’m part of the generation that wants 3D.
The thing with these TVs is you don’t always have to use the 3D if you don’t want to.
WipEout HD Fury in 3D….so glad they made that free….
i don’t want 3d it ruins the whole experience of watching movies, tv and playing games. Come back when a generation wants them, oh and plus to wear nothing and still view it.
3d sucks
@Damian543RB the sony ones that call themselves 3d ready mean that they can view 3d material if you add the 3d sensor that’s sold seperately – they dont do it out of the box. although they are curently giving that as a freebie from sony centres – picked up one at the weekend – the 3d pack contained 2 x glasses, 1 sensor plus a PS3
@alanlovedog Awww okay thank you very much. Coz all the Tv’s I’ve looked at (that use active glasses) says Full HD 3D ready TV. Like with the KDL-HX903 says 3D ready, and I was confused. So does any 3D TV that has active shutter glasses (the expensive keep ones) mean that it’s Full 3D?
Thanks for your help.
forgot to mention – almost every 3D tv on sale in the uk is full 3D – any that use powered shutter glasses are. there’s only one tv i can think of that isn’t - it’s the one that sky distributes to pubs that uses the throwaway glasses – those won’t view full 3d and you probably won’t see them in many uk shops – a hyundai i think
@Damian543RB full 3d is where you get full HD resolution alongside the advantage of 3D – such as you get from blu rays. then you have the type of 3d sky broadcast which is ‘ side by side ‘ – the 2 viewpoints are squeezed into a single HD frame, side by side – meaning you lose full HD quality to get 3D – it’s a tradeoff used to save broadcast bandwidth
Hi there.
Great video! Really helpful. I’ll now use my camera to see which has the most transmiters hehe.
But I was wondering, what’s the difference between 3D Ready and Full 3D?
Also, do you have any Full 3D TVs?
I’m going to buy a 3D tv after Christmas and am very interested in Sony. People say they have the best quality and I have experienced one on the 3D tvs at Marks & Spencer and it was awesome!
The only problem is the price. But you get what you pay for.
I’m interested in the KDL-52HX903.
very charming Omar =)
